Aggravating

Loved it before the last update. Now every time I try to play a video or listen to music on my phone the alarm starts going off. Can’t leave zero stars so one star it is.

Not worth it

With IOS you have to keep the app open all night or it doesnt work, and even when I did that my phone auto locks and the alarm wont go off! If you take off autolock it would work- but I dont want to do that, and I didnt know I would have to for a 2 dollar app.

Actually works

BrushfireOrange

This is the only alarm that can actually get me up in the mornings. Would be 5 stars if it was updated and the music feature still worked.

PROBLEM

Frogladee

UPDATE: For two days in a row, it’s gone off a couple of hours later than the time that was set! This is problematic for two reasons: 1. It didn’t do its job to wake me up. 2. It’s rather embarrassing to have to spin around twice in front of other people at the random time when it goes off. For example, as a college professor in front of a lecture hall full of students! ??‍♀️ I double checked to ascertain that I had not simply set the wrong time. Twice, it has gone off at completely random times, hours after the time that was set. If you touch the “support” link, it takes you to a one page site with options for downloading the app—no support. Thus, you’re getting a one star review until both problems are fixed. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried EVERYTHING to get myself up on time: alarms that shake the bed or turn on lights, horrible sounds across the room, obstacles between me and the alarm, etc. But I would just lay back down in a sleep-deprived stupor. This works better than any of the other things I've tried. You have to stand up, put your thumbs on designated spots on your screen, and spin around two times. That seems to rouse me to consciousness better. However, it's not foolproof. There's nothing to stop you from laying back down, but I seem to be more capable of making a conscious decision after spinning around, which awakens me a little more than just turning an alarm off. There have also been many mornings when I just let that stupid banjo misic play for over an hour. Sometimes I turn the volume all the way down without spinning and go back to sleep, but it does still nag me by the phone vibrating every minute or so as the app tries to go off....if I hear that, but pillows muffle the vibrating sound. A few days ago, I deleted the app instead of getting up. But it got back at me today when I re-installed it: it made me spin three times, as it went off once for each of the three days that it had been uninstalled! You can choose your own music to play during the spinning part. I use that to remind me what I'm getting up for: my university's fight song for days I teach morning classes there, a hymn on church days, etc. TO THE DEVELOPER: It would be nice to be able to choose the music for the alarm part, not just during the spinning, and to have the option of having a horrible sounding alarm that's harder to sleep through than the current music. I'd pay an extra dollar for that.

Great Concept, But Difficult To Use

2wolf2

This app has a great concept to help you wake up. However, I like to sleep with silent mode on, so my alarm never goes off. I followed the directions of keeping the app up, but it would still only vibrate. Also, I tried to add my own music to the sounds, but it would never play. Overall, the execution needs to be better.

Stopped working

This app worked perfectly for over a week and was so good at waking me up but for the past day or so it’s been glitching and refusing to turn off no matter what I do I’ve had to delete and reinstall it several times but the second it’s reinstalled it goes off again and refuses to turn off. I was a big fan but I have to delete it until this is fixed

Not helpful

JJMBxxx1993

I have a horrible habit of snoozing my alarm and oversleeping. Well I thought this would solve my problems. Nope. I set my alarm to 10:30am and it didn’t go off until 11:17. Pretty sure that’s not helpful!! Oh and the alarm doesn’t make any sound if your phone is on silent and the alarm can be silenced by putting your phone on silent. So no you don’t need to get out of bed

Doesn’t work.

The red moon

Snooze should be my middle name because I can sleep through all my alarms and I always hit snooze, faithfully. After doing research and looking over reviews... I was enticed to buy this app. However, this alarm was a waste and made me even think if all the positive reviews were “false advertisement”. I have had this for three days and the only time the alarm went off was when I was already up and clicked on the 100s of notifications from the app. Also, I keep the app open, Bluetooth and do not disturb are off, volume is on full blast and phone is on the charger. I have also tried putting my phone facing up, down, etc. I’m still waiting to hear back from the merchant. If you are a deep sleeper like me, don’t get this app. Sleep cycle works best for me but I needed something to force me out of my bed sometimes and this was not It.

Doesn’t even work

Dunright

Downloaded this last year and it worked great up until the alarm wouldn’t actually go off. Deleted it, redownloaded last night. I randomly Woke up at 330am and the app still said I had 4 hours until the alarm goes off at 5:20am. Luckily I woke up earlier to delete this thing! Fix it. It was great when it worked. Now it’s just plain useless.

LIFESAVER

PieFace1234

I 100% would have failed my 8am classes in college if it wasn't for this app. If you're a heavy sleeper or have to set a dozen alarms- this app is a MUST have
