Auto finder, more like auto builder

Says auto finder but all I got to do is pick vehicles based on a few selections and “create” the vehicle. When prompted to “find vehicle”, you have to put all your contact information in…no thank you, I get enough spam email as it is. It would be nice to be able to put features of vehicles (like cooled seats) in and get a list of vehicles containing said feature. This is just a flashy vehicle customization app, not a true auto finder. Don’t waste your time.

I liked the set up circles, asking what brands and types of vehicles that I prefer, followed by style, followed by selecting Futuristic, Luxury, Sporty. This is a nice feature I’ve never found (yet) in other “me-too,” car search apps. Five stars for this feature. 1-Star for the crappy user experience when you want to enter your name and email, this where the train wreck hits you. Because the app locks you into a modal pop up that forces you to enter your zip code, not allowing access to the standard form underneath. I enter my zip code and apparently the developer doesn’t understand how to allow zip code + 50 or 100 miles. Shame on you. The modal window pop up won’t go away. I can’t enter my details. Annoying. Frustrating. Argh!

Don’t bother. The latest models and information are missing. Unless you’re stuck in a time vortex where it’s still 2018, move along.

With a family, I had the wade through tons of crossovers, before I could get to the actual SUVs, even though I picked SUV as the only interest that I had. I guess what I pick are only Suggestions. Cool app idea otherwise.

I was looking at the Subaru Outback. Although it lets you choose the model and trim level it does not allow refinement with options that might be available in that trim level. I live in the Phoenix Metro area, when I enter my zip code and others from this area, no dealers are in the area per the app. There are 3 Subaru dealerships in the Metro area that I know about. The Phoenix area is almost 5 million people.
