We thought this sounded like a great idea for all three kids who have spelling lists and quizzes on Friday. We entered the lists, the kids began to practice, and the voice software was nearly impossible to understand. The kids KNEW their words and still could not understand what word the program was trying to get them to spell. Pretty much rendered it useless for us.

This is the second spelling app, I bought. I love this app! There's a recorded audio pronunciation for the words you select for the list. Also, there is an option to record over it, in case you are not satisfied with the digital pronunciation. Finally, there is no limit for the number of words you want to include in your list.

Perfect for spelling test quizzes and sight word testing. The voice that speaks the word is very difficult to understand, I agree. However you can record your own voice and overwrite the computerized one. I record a sentence as well. Rating 4 instead of 5 because there isn't much in the way of help in this app. Thank You!

Thanks for the updates! I love this app - my kids are now getting 100% on their spelling tests! I have my kids enter in their spelling lists and record their own voice for extra practice.

This app has been a life saver. It has helped my daughter learn her spelling words in a fun way. If we r in the car, all I have to tell her is to get the iPad out and study her words. She loves the iPad so much, I do not even hear her gripe about doing them. Thank u so much for this app.
