I already paid for this app before. Then I updated my operating system and lo and behold it stopped working until I pay again to buy the exact same app that no longer works unless you buy the update. It's a slimy and awful way to treat your customers who already paid once.

I upgraded to iOS 14 and now my SpeedUpTV has lost the option to speed or slow a video.
Won’t access my photos and videos off iPad

The company just took this app off the App Store, strategically added the + symbol at the end of the apps name, and like magic you have to buy the exact same app you already purchased if you want to use it. Can’t believe Apple allows this low down technique.
So good they make you buy it twice.

Forced to repurchase

Please keep in mind if you purchase this app that you may find one day that it has been removed and you will be forced to purchase the same app under a new name without warning. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the features that this app has provided over the years. I purchased the app a few years ago. When I restored a back up of my iPad I was notified that SpeedUpTV was no longer available to restore on my iPad. Because I did not know that they removed the old app to replace it with one that looks like it does exactly the same thing, the back up I had of all my videos on my iCloud account could not restore. So I lost quite a few videos that were stored in this app backed up to my iCloud. But I did notice is that I could purchase a SpeedUpTV+. I don’t understand if I’ve already purchased the app before I’m not given the option of upgrading at a lower price than having to re-purchase the entire program all over again. I have gone through the app and it appears to me to be the same as the original app that I had already purchased several years ago. If it wasn’t for the customer service perspective of forcing customers to re-purchase an app that they already purchased and offering a replacement that has the same options I would have given it a four star rating. I don’t normally submit reviews. But I feel that the way this app developer has treated loyal customers is very unreasonable.
