Did What Was Needed

Scumbumbo

Needed this to move exchange contacts from an outdated account over to my main group so I could remove that old account. Worked out great, $1.00 well spent. Could have been FAR easier to use and figure out, though. And that should be a standard feature in the stupid phone.

Life saver

Matthew Loose

I normally don’t rate apps but this just saved me so much time. I created 120 contacts that synced to my work email instead of my personal iCloud. Because of that, I couldn’t get those contacts to show up on my MacBook for iMessaging. I wasn’t about to create 120 new contacts, so I looked online and founds this app. This is the only way I found to move contacts between groups, and it was super easy. Apple does not offer a method of doing this. All I had to do was select the contacts that I wanted to move (the entire group), and selected the group that I wanted to move it to. It instantly moved all the contacts to my iCloud account and my MacBook synced with them instantly. This saved me so much time and effort, it was well worth the $.99.

Buggy and outdated

It’s a great idea but this app needs a lot of work! I wish I could customize the fields I’d like to add. I wish I could add a contact to multiple groups instead of just one. The “more” button might as well say “push me to crash” because every time I touch it the app crashes. I’m not sure what that button is actually for. It hasn’t been optimized for larger screens either. Please update.

This app displays a screen to add a new contact and nothing else. It does not list my existing contacts. It seems like it might be broke, outdated, and needing removal from App Store. It is a rip off.

Works with caveats

Before using this app you should be sure you have a backup. I lost most of my address book on the first try and has to go to a backup to try again. Lessons learned: . Don't add groups for mail services for which the iPhone does not support groups. I tried to add a group for Yahoo with this app and moved contacts into the group. A short while later the group and all contacts in the group disappeared. . I was able to successfully create folders in Outlook and in the OSX Contacts apps. After sync, I was able to move several hundred contacts between the Exchange and local groups as well as Yahoo (no groups/lists used for Yahoo.) The interface workflow is a bit sketchy and I doubt that I will use it for the intended purpose of speedy name entry. However this app delivers groups management functionality where Apple completely fails to do so in the iPhone contacts app. Sometimes I felt like I was cleaning a loaded gun, but I attribute this largely to Apple's inconsistent support of groups in vendor email connectors. The app would benefit from some protections in this area. This app saved me DAYS of work, so even with issues it, easily earns five stars.

Simple &Efficient

I haven't find another app that do what this one does easily: transfers contacts between accounts. My family have many google and yahoo accounts and managing contacts from all these accounts was crazy. I wanted to consolidate the contacts in few accounts. With this app I could do it! Great!

No Select All

iConrad

There's an uncheck-all button, that's much too easy to tap, so a careful selection can be trivially wiped out. But amazingly, there's no check-all button. For an app designed to do batch processing of a lot of contacts, its UI I a huge let-down.

Alphabetical app

Wbbrep

Now happy at all with this application It stated that it could alphabetized the list by company. NOT!

Huh?

Robert D. Smith

Doesn't recognize existing groups and everything I have is listed as "unfiled". When I attempt to create a group, it fails!

+1 on lack of "Select All"

PD from SF

I bought this to move all my contacts to an Exchange server. But there is no select all option, and there is no way I am going to select all 1175 contacts individually. When I looked at screenshots I assumed the "uncheck all" button was a toggle. It isn't. I should have read all the other reviews because it appears there are other problems with moving contacts to Exchange. Oh well, $0.99 wasted.
