Crummy audio and mic

nashcor

Hard to understand. Doesn't properly spell what you speak back (adds spaces and counts it wrong.)

Horrible really!

Sachi Pati

It has a bad voice though the words are good I don't like the part where when you backspace it backspaces the whole thing

Doesn't even work

dmiera01

I literally can't even press one button within this app. It's just a photograph and it doesn't work at all. Severely disappointed. Thanks anyway.

Waste of time

Gets stuck. Annoying. It should be a zero star. Please fix it before you put on the App Store.

Almost Five stars :P

DBZFanCraft

I liked the app for it helped me practice my spelling bee words but the voice is sometimes hard to understand and it won't pronounce the word properly no matter how I fix the pronunciation or not :P So can you like...make a way for Siri to properly do it and maybe add a Competition option where we can search the words we need to memorize for an upcoming competition so I don't have to use up a whole week typing out over 100 words?

It sounds like the person is about to cry. Also the person doesn't speak clearly. For example: Khaki was pronounced Cocky Psalm-solemn Abeyant-abooent .....

Doesn't work on iPhone 6

Sadness

embarrassing

i'm not sure who designed this app, but it would appear they didn't bother to learn how to pronounce the words themselves, nor listen to the execution of the app once it launched. I would think in this day and age, finding a bearable computer generated voice wouldn't be so difficult. It is positively painful listening to the pronunciation and having to sit through a shaky, depressed, computer generated voice in order to get to the next word. The lists are good, the idea is good, but the voice and pronunciation make it a farce.

Not for iOS 8

Frustrated by Distractions

Doesn't work in newer operating systems.

So much potential.

It's unfortunate, this app had so much potential. It had loads of great vocabulary words, sorted into different categories, yet I couldn't stand the pronouncer. The voice is very unclear, way too fast, and frankly not even understandable. Making it impossible to study or practice for a real spelling bee.
