Effective timer with a simple and straightforward interface. Green, yellow, and red screens lets the speaker know at a glance how much time is left.

It is easy to use and simple which I love. The whole screen turns green, red, yellow and is easy to see from a distance. The only down side is that it vibrates and there is no way to turn it off, in a small room it is audible and distracting.

Downloaded just a few minutes before chairing a 3 speaker session. Easy to understand & use. I left my phone at the lectern for speakers to see & i reset during speaker transitions. Kept our session on time. Thanks!
Previous Version Was Better

I've used Speaker Alert for quite some time now and showed it to many people who also got it. When my iPhone died and I had to upgrade to the 6, I had to reload the ap. I have two issues with the new version: 1-the screen now times out; the screen light goes out after a minute or so (it didn't in the previous version). 2-I somehow got two additional speech times (0.00 on both) and can't delete or change them. There are no "help" buttons. Change this and I'd give it 5 stars

I have been looking for an app like this for a long time. People who speak at a meeting I regularly attend are held to time limits in order to keep the meeting moving. This app should really help! One huge request, though, is for the time to count down to zero rather than up to whatever the limit is.
Watch issues

This has fantastic potential. However the watch app does not vibrate unless you look at the watch face. It needs to vibrate when I'm not looking at it. I'm not going to keep looking at my watch when I'm on the platform speaking. It would be great if it buzzed once for green, twice for yellow and three times for red. I went to the developer website to leave this feedback but wasn't able to see a mechanism so I am left with the review as a way to communicate.

The idea of this app is just what I needed. But the edit button doesn't work. When I finally figured out how to edit my speech times, then I couldn't figure out how to re-order my topics. If it worked correctly, this would be great.
Needs a count down option

Well designed app but not useful for my needs without a countdown option. As currently designed, the app will only count time going up.
