Each English speaking class features a specific topic in daily life. The instructor coaches students 1-on-1 through real time video conversation. While the instructor is coaching one student, other students can watch the conversation and benefit from observational learning. Toward the end of the class, students will also have chance to practice with each other via 1-on-1 video chat.
In an English speaking practice session, you can watch introductory videos from all participants and invite anyone for a 1-on-1 video chat. You are free to accept or turn down an invitation. You are also free to leave one video chat and join another. If you are not ready to have a conversation, you can watch live conversations between other participants. After a video chat, you can invite your chat partner to connect and communicate through private messaging afterwards.

After you verify the email address, you may log in and browse online classes and practice sessions. To sign up for an English speaking class or a practice session, you need to record a short video introducing yourself. Don’t worry if you have never introduced yourself in front of a camera. Speak Native allows you to keep practicing until you get a video you are happy with. You may update your intro video any time.
To ensure a healthy learning environment, Speak Native allows you to report any inappropriate behavior or content within the app. You may also block any user from contacting you within the app.
