Sparq’s user friendly interface allows you to easily browse through events near you. As you use the app, Sparq learns what types of events you like, and displays more of what you want. If you dig house music events, expect to see more house events in your stream. Partial to intimate dinner parties, well get the fork ready! Sparq is made for hosts! Creating event invites in Sparq couldn’t be easier.
Setting up a handsome invitation on Sparq is quick and simple. You can be finished in under 10 minutes. We support both public as well as private events.

Socially fund and promote your own events. Your event can be either private or listed in the discover stream.

Communal funding allows guests to feel they are an integral part of your event from day one. As a host, you will receive money within 3 days of your guest’s contribution, so no waiting until after the event for funds. You have upfront money to pay for event costs. We are partnering with Stripe for our credit card payments.


With stretch goals, once your original goal is met, you can offer extras like open bar with chimps in tuxedos serving cocktails if your next goal is met.
Event promotion is more difficult than it ever has been. Unfortunately, social media is no longer a great tool for hosting and promoting events. Nobody really sees event posts anymore. With Sparq, you can directly invite all of your friends via text or email. With our discovery feature, would-be guests who have similar interests will be shown your event through the app. Also, guests who like or fund your events will be notified for your subsequent events.

Using Sparq won’t change the way you normally promote. You will still be able to use your standard means of promotion including email, social media, etc. Think of aspaq as an added, useful promotion resource. Our platform is appropriate for 1 guest or 1,1300 guests, and it’s completely scalable.

You can easily make your event public or private. For example, if you’re setting up a friend's birthday, make it a private event, and it will not be visible in the discover stream. Your event will only be visible by guests who were invited. Also, all guests have a profile, featuring a short bio and photo of themselves. Guests are also encouraged to “apply” to your event by writing a few words explaining why they are a good fit for your event.
