The first time I tried this game I was frustrated because I used up all of my power-ups and wasn’t about to pay for more. I deleted it and reloaded about 2 weeks later. If you are patient, you need to wait for additional power-ups to be awarded and watch a few adds in the process. It may take days to accumulate the required powerups to defeat a level but eventually you do. I am through the portal and accumulating butterflies which require one life for every butterfly so you cannot accumulate more than 5 at a sitting. Can’t wait to see how this ends and how many more days there are!

Believe what you want... But I love this game. I have all the Sparkle games and will continue to download them. If you like the others, you will like this one too.

Earlier Sparkle versions are great games. This one, as other users have noted, nickel and dimes you constantly throughout the game. By Day 25, I've seen the same old backgrounds at least four times--there's nothing innovative here. I'm going to delete it and find something else. These people ought to be ashamed of themselves, putting this schlock out there. What a disappointment.

When I first played, I thought the game was just OK. Next thing I knew, I was swept up and carried off to a another world on a different dimensional plane, and I could not put the game down. This went on for an embarrassingly long period of time. I have since gotten off of the train, but I’ll always remember the trip!

The previous versions were great fun. This one is reasonable to about level 45. After that you can't progress without power ups, and those aren't free. It's got every in app purchase they can think of: pay $3 to advance levels, annoying advertising, pay for various type of power ups, etc. It's just selling out the good name of the game for pure greed. I'm deleting.
