Awesome Chess Game!!!

alphatym

This chess game is absolutely great. Gameplay is solid and the graphics are gorgeous on the iPad. It is the perfect tool to learn chess or just to practice on your spare time. Highly recommended.

Excellent!

What a great program. Highly recommend. The best so far. Play it a lot.

Great learning tool for kids!

Denhuang123

This is a great tool for kids to learn chess, especially with the visual aids teaching you various options to move. For those that are learning to play there is no better chess app in the App Store. The visual cues for how each piece moves is really without parallel. We started playing the app through a free download on the pc through chrome and really liked the way this taught our kids how to play.

Great chess game

Chessforall

Great place to play the best board game of all.

Great chess app

Teacher dad.

Spark chess is one of our favorite chess apps ... Cody, Claire and Boris have become members of our family. Yes, there was a draw issue (which was frustrating) but they fixed it quickly. Good job!

Timing is pointless

mveras1972

This is an excellent app if you want to play with others online. However, they totally destroyed the entertainment value of chess by imposing a timer which does not allow you to think your next moves. One minute per move is just not enough, and there isn't a way to pause the game once you start. Those are terrible oversights. I feel like I paid for a game with a very bad flaw. Why have a timer at all is ridiculous. I would be more than happy to pay extra to remove the timer, but that's not even an option.

Downgrading

EN500

The last update caused the 50 move rule to now be only 25 moves before a draw is declared. Useless for setting up endgame positions. I contacted support and got no response. I will be attempting to downgrade the app to the previous version. Disappointing.
