Love how easy it is to use this app. Somehow it knows weather you are asking to translate English to Spanish or Spanish to English. I use it a lot.

Ascendo has created an excellent language learning platform to rival Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, and others like it. Their language dictionaries are helpful for beginners, and PhraseMates, a standalone peer-to-peer learning platform, is an excellent resource for more advance bilinguists.

I enter English word grasshopper for Spanish word. Instructions say to enter Spanish or English word to be translated. No results. I entered chapulin , the Spanish word for grasshopper, no result. Enter English word cicada- no results. Enter Spanish word cigarra to translate to English. Gives me Spanish word cigarro for English, cigarette. Would not translate cigarra to cicada. I guess you don't know what a cicada is or a cigarra is. A cicada is a member of the cicadae family. It is an insect that makes a very loud high pitch sound. I will wait for a response from you. If I don't get one, I will delete this app.

I appreciate that the app is intuitive enough to know whether I am typing an English or a Spanish word. The verb conjugations are extremely helpful as are the phrases. I have this app on my phone and iPad.
