This is a wonderful app, especially the sections on verbs. I especially like the FlashCards section at the end of the chapters. I was going to pay 99cents to remove ads which sometimes block the last line. I will probably decide to try. This app would have 5 stars if ppl didn’t rate it low because ads remained after Paying 99 cents to remove them. The ads aren’t a big issue except at the last line occasionally. Seriously, to give a one star rating for a 99cent ad removal is harsh. This app is well organized, comprehensive, and overall excellent. It deserves at least 4 stars even with the ad glitch. I haven’t been able to access tests tho.
I like the app, generally, but after paying to see no ads, the ads still appear every time! So, just as other reviewers have said, I paid for nothing. Unacceptable! And so distracting are the ads flashing across the bottom that I can’t concentrate well enough to make the app useful, so don’t use it at all.
This grammar learning app is terrible. It is poorly organized. The grammar explanations are clear and easy to study, but the tests that are given are inconsistent and are not aligned with the grammar content of each grammar chapter covered. This inconsistency may make it difficult for the language learner to grasp all of the grammar concepts covered. Plus, the mixing up of concepts on the tests will confuse the learner. Plus, why is it necessary to know how to say the adjective that describes the city of origin of a person or thing from Parma? The tests also contain multiple choice test questions about the use of tag questions in English. This is totally irrelevant to the proper use of Spanish grammar. Also, there are grammar mistakes in English in the app tools pane. As a professional Spanish teacher reviewing this app, I do not recommend the use of this one if you are seeking to either learn how to use Spanish grammar for the first time or simply to practice your language skills.
The test was kind of incomplete, but the explanations were easy to understand and helpful. Use it for reference in conjunction with a program like Rosetta that gives no explanation.
Bought the app but it is still showing ads even after purchasing it!
This app has a lot of great information and is really helping me understand parts of Spanish grammar; however, when I pay $.99 in order to remove ads, I actually expect the ads to be removed. I’m going back-and-forth between this app and my language learning app and *every time* I reenter this one, I am presented with a full-screen ad, despite the fact that I have paid via in-app purchases to have those removed. Until this is fixed, using this app is more of a pain than anything else, even with its great info, because I have to wait 10-15 secs to close out of ads that I paid not to be bothered by. ??
Paid 99¢ to remove ads but they’re still there. Clearly this is an issue with other people as well. Hate apps that take your money but don’t live up to their part—bad business.
I’m an intermediate Spanish speaker—if you don’t speak Spanish, you think I’m fluent, if you do speak Spanish you probably think I sound like a 4 year old. The information in this app is fantastic, simply written, easy to understand and very accurate. I can go exactly to which lesson I need to so I can study what I know I’m lacking instead of starting AT THE BEGINNING like a Rosetta Stone course. This app would be perfect if it had some quizzes at the end of each mini lesson. Drilling yourself is important to really practice with the language, and the one large grammar test doesn’t allow me to focus in on the skill I wanted to practice. I would pay $5 for an app that had the level of information in this app, plus a way to quiz and drill myself.
Great explanations of Spanish grammar, but do not get the paid version because the ads still show after purchasing. It’s a lot of ads too - every time you switch screens or exit and reenter the app.
I would pay 5$ for this app!!! I think If they added a quiz at the end of each lesson that would be even more amazing! The information is put together very well! I’m surprised it doesn’t have more stars. Great Spanish Grammar App! Best one I’ve found yet!
