Love this game but don't understand why partner trumps when you already have the trick . Really enjoy it !!!!

Not Real World At All - DO NOT PURCHASE

Eat 'Em Up 54

FIX YOUR PROGRAM. It could be a good game. Your computer partner cannot count his/her tricks, underbids the hands majority of the time. Your partner constantly throws away kings in the first round of play when they could likely be counted and used to take another trick. When your partner reaches his/her bid, it continues to take tricks that could be avoided when there are cards in other suits that could be played or lower spades. Because of all the above reasons, I intentionally overbid my hand to compensate for my computer partner's underbidding. You would never do that in a real card game of Spades. Even though I overbid my hand, many times, it still isn't enough. So, I find myself trying not to take tricks to compensate for my partner taking too many. Again, you would never do that in a real game of Spades. It lets you win. It's a computer game, so of course, it always knows the cards in your hand. I often overbid my hand, when I shouldn't, knowing the computer is going to let me win most of the time anyway. That would never happen in a real game of Spades.

Spades Pro - Enjoyable App!

Spades Pro is a VERY enjoyable game! Colorful and clear graphics; fine sound effects. App plays fast and smoothly on an iPad Mini generation 1. Yes, there are times when I'd like to be able to reach across the table and smack my partner alongside the head ... some pretty lame plays! However, when I play with a human partner, there are also many times I'd like to do the same! With the app set to Easy or Normal difficulty, I win over 85% of the time, so I've switched to Hard difficulty. With partner strategy set to Venture, I've won 30 games and have lost 9 (77% wins). The partner is quite aggressive in Venture mode, so we collect fewer bags. I'd recommend Spades Pro to anyone who enjoys "real" spades with human opponents and wants to have a few relaxing computerized games. The partner isn't perfect, but few partners are.

Very good, but...

Love this app, I play it often to relax. On the hardest setting it is fairly realistic. But, the partner engine needs tweaking to prevent it from bidding nil when it has the ace, king, or queen of any suit or possesses 4 or more spades. My latest game it bid nil with the king, queen, ten, nine and two of spades. Fix this and it's fantastic. 6/13/17 This app is GREAT. The issues listed previously have been fixed and I raised my rating to 5 stars. If you like Spades, you will love this app. It is so much better than the non-pro version.

Perfection you seek.

Gruvn grny

Although the game may not be perfect. I am happy to not have the commercials.

Spades Pro NOT!!!!!

Too bad, I liked your game

Computer partner CONSTANTLY under books!!! How can you have the King and Ace of spades and bid ONE book???? Not much fun at all when your computer partner is EXTREMELY unreliable. I have to purposely OVERBOOK just to make up for my computer partner's underbooking. By doing that, I have to guess. Will the computer underbook 1,2,3, or more? One time it bid 2 and got 8 books! RIDICULOUS!! FRUSTRATING, even at the highest level of play your computer partner will play you more than the game!!!!!!!!

Pretty good!

I would recommend having a "Reshuffle" button. Cards aren't always mixed well. Thanks

Great game

My wife is a Bridge addict. I play Spades which is similar. She won't try it. Her loss! Rules are similar, but..... Start out with the free game wherein you can get bidding hints, which lean conservatively, and learn to be frustrated by your partner. Bid nil as often as you can but be prepared to lose it on the last card played. That's the way I have a win percentage of 83% over many games. The game keeps track. Now that you know the rules and game strategy, upgrade for $2 to the pro version. Now you can tune up your strategy and partner aggressiveness. It's tougher. Early versions of this game had a bug or two but for some period since I haven't seen one. I play one game daily (unless I lose in a squeaker chiding me to try again to show 'em my stuff). Give it five stars. Incidentally, this game is not the pass three cards, avoid black Black Queen played in my college days.

Addictive Fun

Mellow Rose

So much fun and it is hard to stop playing! My favorite game on iPad or phone!
