There are a lot of apps for droning and noise creation. Some good, some.......,well. This is my hands down favorite. The sounds are rich and easily manipulated and add really unique tone color when placed in a mix. Very easy to lose many hours with this great instrument. IMHO this belongs in any sound creators toolbox.

UPDATE: Audiobus added, along with more presets and the ability to set scales and save presets. Fifth star added! Original review below: Extremely straightforward and easy to use, Spacevibe makes creating powerful futuristic soundscapes a breeze. The 8 presets are basically starting points. All the magic happens on the dual, customizable XY pads in real time. The idea is not to create patches but recordings. Once you get going, you'll see what I mean. Currently, you're restricted to recording within the app and emailing your performance out of the app for use in your projects. The developer has indicated Audiobus support will come in a future update. When that happens, 5 stars for sure. Well worth the pocket change asking price.

Whether you use it as just an audio toy, or use it to make a drone or effects track in a project, this app has an understated beauty and power that few others of the many I own have managed to combine. Highly recommended!

this is what I would hope it sounds like. You get some great sonic drones that echo and move while you change parameters and manipulate the pads to dial in the sound you want. Far more lush than any Theremin app be played with yet!

I have always enjoyed this app and it is quite fun. However, even with the bundle discount, $10.99 is a bit dear for the harmonizer and additional modes. I know that developers need to make money from their creations ( and they certainly deserve to do so), but even with these enhancements, the app remains fundamentally limited. Y'know, that whole cost vs value thing...
