SIGNAL BOOST

I heard about this app in an eye-opening 60 minutes piece and I downloaded it literally right after. I really felt what the guys from DL were talking about - we should be encouraging each other to be mindful of this widespread addiction. I'm going to tell everybody about this app - it's such a simple tool that really does help "create space." So glad I found out about it!

Yowzers! Bringing calm to my social networking!

Seriously, this is a great app and desperately needed idea! I installed it for Pinterest since I am on there ALL the time. What I love is that if I open it a 2nd time quite soon after I just closed it, I'm asked to take TWO breaths! One breath, two breaths, they both help; I just like that little reminder that, "hey, you realize you're using Pinterest quite a lot a lot, right?". Heh.

Perfect

Perfect amount of time needed to find a small amount of clarity before indulging.

Great app for use in school environments

This app is very nicely designed aesthetically and functionally. Fits right in with the new emergent needs for brain self care. Addresses a very critical need for teens I and my counselor colleagues work with in the schools.

Interesting idea

I like how simple the concept is. Other kinds of detox apps require constant check ins, which defeats the point to me. It also empowers you to make the choices about when to use apps, rather than just blocking the app and taking the choice away. I could see this leading to real change in behavior. I can't use it much yet because the apps listed aren't really my problem apps. I browse reddit through chrome. My other hope for this app is not have to "hide" the offending app and replace with the doppelgänger. I could see that working well on android where there is the main screen and the menu, but on iPhone it's all right there in front of you, so "hiding" isn't much of an option. A smart app. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Just got the app

It seems to be a really good idea I just wish it had YouTube because that would make it so much more useful. There's also a thing where it won't let me feedback or make requests without an email but I'm really lost has to where I'm suppose to give the app my email?!?!??!

Great concept, great excicution.

Helps Me Pause

I love that this app helps me pause before I go into an app. Thank you for thinking of others to help us create the space we all need. I’m sharing this app as much as possible.

A necessity in today’s world

This app is fantastic. I’m recommending it to as many people in my circle as possible. The genius is in the fact that breathing balances the alarm/stress response, which in turn helps cure addiction.
