Both my 10-year-old son and I enjoyed the game. It's fun and he's learning some facts about space and NASA!
I liked how you move Sammy around space to catch the pieces! Good education facts
It's a nice game to teach kids more about space. Not very many levels though. Only for kids who are middle school and up though as there is a lot of reading for the learning portion and the vocab could be confusing. Also I saw that the perigee and apogee were switched in the picture. The description is correct though.
This is a very simple game and got boring very quickly. As someone else pointed out, the drawing showing apogee and perigee is wrong. It really reflects poorly on NASA when they didn't catch this mistake. When they are sending live bodies into space I hope they are triple checking everything so they don't overlook simple mistakes such as this. It could get someone killed. They are trying to generate interest in NASA. Simple mistakes like this are not the way for kids to have confidence that NASA knows what they are doing.
Even though there is the apogee/perigee typo, this cute game and is chock full of cool info. Kids will love it! I recommend it to anyone who likes space. Adults, too! Simple to use, and if you beat it, just reset it! How could anyone deny the cuteness and awesomeness of S.J. Sammy!?!?
The game itself is very enjoyable, and fairly straightforward. The facts are a nice touch, but some more levels would be nice. Keep up the good work!
