A little harder than other games and in order to get to a certain level you’ll have to upgrade which I feel is not considered free....

My 5-year old son played a version of Defender at Red Robin and insisted on us going back the following Friday(so he could play). I downloaded this game after dinner elsewhere and 5 days later, with me driving and him shooting, we have beating level 50 and started on the expansion pack. Nostalgic for me and making memories with him! Thanks Space Cadet!

Good game but lacks

I really like the game. It’s challenging and entertaining but, it can take a long time to get enough metals for more upgrades. I wish there was a way to win more metals every so many levels. That’s why I gave it four stars. I haven’t gotten to the point where it frustrates me yet.

This is a cool game. Not money hungry like others. Pretty cool action. Could be a little easier but still awesome game.

Reached level 50 and had to pay to continue.

I reached level 50 after a few days off for fun. Level 46 & 47 were very difficult but possible like the developers claim. They also claim in the reviews that they’re built it in a way that in app purchases aren’t necessary. Until you reach level 50. I made a few in game purchases to upgrade because it was more fun that way. But I’m unwilling to pay more. Too bad.

1. I cannot beat wave 46. 2. 90% of power ups and upgrades are overpriced. 3. I used to play this on another device and the bullet recon reflected enemy bullets but on this device it makes enemy bullets disappear. Poof! Clearly this game needs some improvement with power ups and bullet recon. Thank you

I enjoy this game BUT, the ratio of medal value (5, 10, 20) to how much upgrades cost isn’t fair. I understand the developer wants to make money. Who doesn’t? But I don’t enjoy playing games enough to buy upgrades because I’ll eventually get bored or frustrated and delete the game. The upgrade amounts increase 200% or more (guessing) each time I upgraded. I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t for that. ***Addition...I remember now why I delete this game every time. LEVEL 43! You may say the game was designed to be played without buying upgrades but I challenge you to pass 43 with 3/4 shields and minimally upgraded weapons when the aliens have stupid shields and an unfair advantage. Guess what...I’m deleting it again. You won’t get money from me.
