I love Soundtrap and have been using it a little over two years now. However my problem is with the new app update. I like the way the old update was with the navigation and the design. To me, it was better than the new one. Whenever you open the app with the new update, it takes you straight to the studio, which I think is inconvenient. The old app update was much better because all the songs were there when you opened the app and now you go straight to the studio and you can end up clicking a bunch of things and making a song when you didn’t even want to.

Does anyone else seem to randomly lose the ability to login? I’ve had to recreate accounts because after a little while I can’t get into my account anymore. “Login failed. Please try again.” Apparently there’s no way to fix this, and there’s no customer service and nothing online. This has happened 3 times and I’ve lost ALL of my music every time. WHY is there no customer service? When actually able to access my own account…Unless you’re using a MacBook, syncing is impossible, even when PERFECTLY in time with the metronome…each track is off from the previous one which is just ridiculous. You can only be in a room with one person at a time…whyyyy? That’s just ridiculous. Why isn’t anyone smart enough to make these basic changes to fix these issues? I don’t recommend this app for these reasons.

For now, I’m giving it one star because I can’t create an account through the app at all. Every option I chose to create an account with just gave me a message saying error.

Very laggy, crashes often, takes up a lot of space, and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do in the app. Good in theory but it doesn’t function well.

On update 3.0 functionality was removed due to a “new interface”. Now you can’t skip to an specific part of a recording without opening the project... (Which takes time) This is an essential feature and really damages the app in a bad way. I personally downgraded to 2.5 (not easy is ios) Please fix this

Honestly, I just got the app and I’m already bored of it cuz there’s literally no sounds coming out from anything.

I liked it better before you had to open a whole project JUST to be able to rewind it while listening

I found soundtrap about a year ago and it seemed like a dream come true for a beginner to recording music, but at this point the app is basically useless to me and the desktop version is becoming frustrating as well. On mobile, you can’t use headphones - HEADPHONES. Which means you can’t actually listen to anything you’re doing (the iPhone’s built in speaker really doesn’t do anything justice), and you also can’t record anything or else you’ll be able to hear the track you’re recording over in your take. You can’t edit instruments, and you have to manually save constantly. The app also crashes all the time or fails to load things in. It needs serious help if it wants to keep its user base thriving on its technology. I don’t want to switch to anything else but I’m looking for alternatives at this point

No sound at all. iPhone 12, iOS 15. Restarted iPhone, uninstalled, re installed and still no sound.
