love(d) this thing! (now hate it. see edits below.) the choices are great, i like that it turns on gradually, and i especially like that it tells you how long it's been on, so you know how long you (or a little one) has been sleeping. and the black and white pictures are a really nice touch. FINAL EDIT: did latest update. then it crashed and took my own personal sounds with it! (storm on vacation in NC, birds on vacation in VA. lost forever.) and now IT ONLY PLAYS FOR HALF AN HOUR and wants you to PAY to "upgrade" to what you already HAD for years?! that is lousy. those of us who have been with you for years, giving you feedback get screwed? thanks, man. EDIT: don't like that they can't seem to get your *own* recorded sounds right. there is a gap of quiet between the end of the loop and when it starts again. (as jarring a a gap of noise in the middle of a silence...) EDIT: now when i click on it it opens for a half-second and closes itself down. have tried everything but re-installing, but if i do that i will lose the bird-sounds and storm-sounds i recorded on trips to virginia and north carolina. :( i am bummed. the two stars is for how i once loved it. they never fixed my recording problem (we emailed back and forth,) and now it's crashy and unusable. sad, really. PS just saw their app for making your phone a wifi baby monitor. YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE WIFI/CELL PHONES BY BABIES, ESPECIALLY NOT HANGING OVER THEIR FORMING BRAINS WHILE THEY SLEEP. duh! michael really oughta do his research.

I love this app!! I use this maybe every night- if she’s fussy. No matter how hard she’s crying, as soon as the sound starts playing, she calms down right away; and drifts off to sleep. The two sounds that do the trick for her are “Mountain River” and “Rain”.
