Sound Meter — Noise Dosimeter

Noise Dosimeter is suitable for situations when you've got to take control over the noise you're making. Besides dB measurement this app could be set to detect max allowed noise and will let you know that you've reached it with a special alarm.

I've been looking for an app that measures loudness and allows me to have an "alarm" when it gets too loud. I want to use it in my special Ed class for students who are unaware of how loud they are sometimes. However, this app doesn't allow me to adjust the sensitivity or "trim", and so the alarm goes off even during a quiet whisper. Please allow the user to adjust this so that only truly loud sounds set off the alarm. See other decibel apps to know what I'm talking about, they all have this setting.

Alarm too dim, does not run in background
Gmadrid01

The alarm is the most useful feature of the application however it is too dim and its volume cannot be adjusted. It does not run in the background either. I use this application to monitor my sleep talking so it wakes me up when I talk too loud. Must run in the background and have a volume adjustment. Please make those two adjustments and it will be a killer app.

Noise dosimeter

Pretty happy with it. Comparing to my other noise meter apps it seems to be relatively accurate.

Useless junk
Weimarner

It doesn't seem to work. There are no buttons or other obvious way to turn it on. Do not download this product.

Doesn't work

The needle didn't move at all. Too bad. I like the aesthetic and the ability to set 'unacceptable noise level'.
