I downloaded several apps to see how they compared to a professional meter. It was significantly off. Other apps were much closer.

Simple, no frills, gives me what I want, which is a ballpark dB level. No complaints at all.

Buggy as hell. Constantly shows a red bat across the top that glitches and moves the status bar around all over the place.

This app has a red bar on top of the screen that flicks on and off constantly. I'm worried about the bad program having access to my device. It has potential if fixed.

Piece of crap, front for advertisements.

I just had this and several other app decibel meters measuring noise at a construction site by my house. We had them side by side with two different state (FL) 'certified' meters. These two were withib 2 dB of each other. This app on the other hand was off (always below) 24-45 dB at all sites we tested. With such an error this meter is completely useless. It is not useful at all. You can pick any number you want between 50 and 92 and have a better chance of hitting the correct dB level than this app. Very disappointing.
