Soroban The Whale - Abacus Maths
A Soroban is a Japanese abacus, which can help children to understand number concepts and visually demonstrates the decimal system. There are only five beads in each column, with the top bead having a value of 5 and the four lower beads each having a value of 1. Either tap or slide a bead to show its value and when you are finished, shake the iPad to reset all the beads to zero.

Graphic UI is nice. Lacking tutorial!

The graphics are very cute and engaging for little ones. But there is no tutorial instructions for kids to learn to use it for computing! Not even an explanation of how it works, in general. For adults, we can figure it out or find instructions with extra sleuthing. But for a little kids, it means not playing with it. I'd love to see improvements. I can re rate it then.
