Not sure what it actually does...

BVollmet

Seriously. It can't do anti virus. It only does Wi-Fi scanning on demand. It's seriously worse than the TSA for security. For the MITM checks, it fails on easy tests. There are a ton of password generation utilities out there. This one isn’t that great. I’m on the latest version, which was forced onto my device. I’d give it a 0 star rating if possible for what it does do. Which is basically nothing.

SLOW

FreedomMinister

I travel alot and I'm constantly connecting to new networks and I used up all my data last month because I gave it 15-20 seconds to connect to alot of of my normal hotspots. Since I can't be without data I've had to stop and wait for up to 2 minutes to get connected to hotspots I use EVERY WEEK.

Password Manager doesn’t work

PartyByNight

I’ve been using KeePass for years and imported my database to the app. I selected Sophos as my autofill app of choice in Settings and tried numerous websites via Safari, initiating from both Safari and the URL link in the password manager. Nothing has ever filled in. Now, any time I want to log in to a site, I have to switch from Safari to Sophos. Open database. Find entry. Copy username. Switch back. Paste. Switch again. Copy password. Switch back. Paste. It’s just a matter of time before I paste a password in the wrong place. UPDATE: In order to use the password manager, I had to create a new database in the app, export that, then import all my passwords to the new database (because only v3 databases are supported). Recently, I updated the app and it “lost connection” to my cloud instance, so I had to unlink and relink the file. Now it doesn’t recognize the database as v3. If this app wasn’t forced on me by my company, I’d delete it.

What does this thing do actually?

So I just got an “alert” from Sophos on my lock screen saying there’s a new version of iOS available. How does this provide any extra info or value over the notice I get from Apple?

It does work

ruspiced man

Some days I wonder if these security apps work, well it proved on our iphones. Detected a wifi intruder and I was able to stop it before any damage. My only issue does not work on older generation devices. Would like to protect my Ipad

Scanner

mjteit

The app on my droid has scanner, why is this not available on the iOS app. As far as I am concerned, that feature is the heart of the app.

It works

fog42

I have been alerted several times to the availability of critical security updates allowing for very timely installation, once for a suspected intrusion of my WiFi server. Upon checking that turned out to be a software update by the developer. Review of status shows a recent history of connections and the program’s assessment of them. Once I got an alert about such a foreign to me connection which allowed me to close the connection and reboot. No guarantees, but this app seems to do exactly what it claims.

Great AV

Roger Guillaumes

Great antivirus for iOS devices . Provides additional layer of protection.

Feelings of safety

My husband joined Sophos and I was included. I have Sophos on my iPhone so when I go online I don’t have to worry of picking up any viruses.

Missing search for password safe

MSACA

This app is great. One thing I am really missing is a search feature for the password safe when filling in website login forms. If I call the app directly it is there, but if I enter it from a login form, the search feature is missing...
