I wish I could give this game 5 stars. Really, I do. However, ever since upgrading to iOS 9.1, whenever I lock my device or start Multitasking, the game would restart! This gets really frustrating when I'm playing the game during my school's passing periods, ESPECIALLY in Tidal Tempest. Whether this is an iOS 9.1 bug or a Sonic CD bug I do not know, but I am really hoping it gets fixed!
How great is Sonic CD
The bosses are amazing metal sonic and the final boss are the best. The cutscenes are awesome and the best things are the animations. There only 1 problem you can't turn into super sonic or hyper sonic it would be amazing if you could right.

The US soundtrack for the invincibility and speed music are too awesome. My favorite one of the two is the invincibility music. Super awesomeness.

I'm soooooo happy this is here! One of my favorites! Now Sega needs to release a CHAO GARDEN app game!!
Award him now dude
Ok so this game is great in favor of all my favorite sonic games this is #1. In the next update could you add knuckles and you can unlock him by saving the day as tails and could you put sonic the hedgehog 3 and sonic and knuckles on the AppStore I would appreciate it ?.

I grew up on this game on Sega CD and I happily threw down a few bucks to be reunited with what is my personal favorite 2D sidescrolling Sonic game. The game itself is such a gem with "past" and "future" versions of each level. Level design is gorgeous, either soundtrack is great. Plus the time attack is fun! I am still still stressed by the Metal Sonic encounter however. Some things don't change

This is definitely the definitive edition of this game with all of its great additions such as Tails and including both the JP and US soundtracks; however, as some fan feedback, I would appreciate if this (along with the great iOS remakes for Sonic 1 and 2) was ported to PC for Steam, PS4's PSN, or Xbox One. I know that SEGA would have to be the one to greenlight such a project, but it would please people like me who typically don't play Sonic (but are attempting to get into the series with these iOS/PS3 remakes). Also, Sonic 3 & Knuckles on iOS could work as well as the previous installments' remakes. SEGA is sitting upon many obvious gold mines in many ways right now, but they seem to refuse to even try to dig it up, instead being in favor in releasing/publishing games that are either unfinished (Sonic Boom) or rushed to meet a deadline (Sonic Lost World). I know that Taxman & Stealth has already demoed a concept Sonic 3 & Knuckles iOS port (although not greenlit by SEGA), and I will be surprised if it hasn't began development yet, considering that this is yet another anniversary for the series this year.
