IPad pay vs android free

Why does android have a free version and apple doesn't? I'm not paying 4.99 a month

Some bugs

FFface

This has annoyed me for a while, but the tick that moves along with the place of a song moves ahead the music, and it gets worse the longer and further through the song. It’s not in time with the music it goes faster. If you play a long enough song it will be almost a full bar ahead. You can’t even see the notes you are supposed to play anymore.

Getting there

It’s a major improvement to show the drum notation in the actual location of each instrument on the staff, with the note value (I.e. half notes, quarter note, etc. notation). The old way of drum “tabs” just did not work, with abbreviations for each instrument, jumping around all over the staff. Now, can we be big boys and girls and have the actual sheet music for bass & guitar too, not just tabs? Tabs are quick and easy, like junk food, but don’t give the full picture of how the song is supposed to sound with full musical notation. Even just the notes on the proper staff would be an improvement. Thanks

Easiest Way to Learn Tabs

TheRealJKane

Way more effective than books because each note is sounded as it scrolls by

Real talk id rather keep the ad tab. Sorry I know $5 ain’t a lot for access but it’s enough to keep ads on

Heads up: download only if you have subscription

iMious

If you are not subscribed, the website offers more than the application ?? (Can't even see full tabs, technically the app is useless without subscription.)

The website is better

Casey Slape

Honestly, the app is garbage compared to the website. You need a subscription in order to view any tabs, making this leagues worse than just using the mobile website. Why would I even pay for guitar tabs in the first place??

Odd monetization strategy

It's unclear why one would be using this app where they need to pay $5 to get full songs, while you can just use the web version for free.

Help

Vaughn099

The only app I’ve used to get TABS. Just got a new phone, went from Samsung to Apple and had the 1 time payment version on Samsung and now I can’t use the app anymore without paying the $5 monthly fee. Even tried the “restore purchase” option and still nothing. Help?

Just use the website

wowimdumb

They’ve got a great site where you can view the whole tab at once FOR FREE. The app only lets you view tabs in a side scroll which isn’t fun for learning new pieces, and you also have to pay to view more than 3 bars or so. Why? Just have premium services people can pay for like with on the website, rather than just not letting people view anything for free. Might as well just charge for the app in the first place instead of pretending it’s free when it’s not.
