Really fun game, when it works. About half the time it doesn’t let someone choose an answer. Or when someone chose an answer it says you chose something else. But this is a really fun game when it works! We get really competitive on who can guess the right song fastest! So much fun!
Too many connectivity issues to be fun

Constantly has connectivity issues where you get dropped or can’t connect to the game.
Good but terrible connection.

So much fun, but terrible connection. I tried playing with family, and someone was always getting disconnected. We couldn’t multitask while playing(couldn’t pause the app to check messages etc.) Hope this gets fixed.
Really fun, doesn’t always work

Fix the app. Sometimes you cannot log back in if you close the app.

We love this game and wish there were more trivia games this easy to play. Great for families (just dodge the categories with music that contain explicit language).

This was the best game on Apple TV — so much fun with a group of friends. The frequent connectivity issues keep getting worse and now make it unplayable. It doesn’t seem like the developers are supporting the app anymore. The app hasn’t been updated in years. I emailed developer support but didn’t receive a response.
Can’t connect

Tried restarting the apple tv, changing networks, restarting devices and still can’t connect to the game. Worthless now. Sad because it used to work.

5-star game, dinged for connectivity bug ? This game is fantastically fun!! it’s a shame FreshPlanet or owners are only interested in the existing $5/month we VIP players pay. instead if they had a marketing dept or someone who cared about their customers , they may realize if they fixed this connectivity bug they could grow their market far beyond existing players. After guests download the SongPop Party app I also share SongPop and we swap Ids to play in the future. In its current state we have to create an extra user in anticipation of someone losing connection to the game with the dreaded “...searching for AppleTV” message, putting the host into apology mode, while deciding to all exit and relaunch or continue depending how far into the round we are. Please fix this. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars with you in monthly fees. Please view SongPop Party not as a neglected product bc of limited revenue in comparison, but instead as a fun and successful driver for your SongPop 2 business.
