We recommend using Siri to launch this app by saying "Open Song Genie". Upon opening Song Genie will automatically start listening for a command.

A: Yes, if you like ease of use. If you like voice commanding you phone, you will love this app.
2. How do I use this with Spotify?
A: Once logged in with Spotify or Facebook account, Song Genie will play ANY Song, Artist or Album directly on the Spotify app. Without Spotify, all songs will play on YouTube.
3. Can I play songs or other vides on YouTube?
A: Yes, start your command with "Watch" or "YouTube" followed by part of video title
4. Do I need Spotify to use this app?
A. No, but we recommend logging in with your Spotify login. You can still use YouTube while you are logged in with Spotify
5. Can I watch cute cat videos with this app?
A: Yes! Try Saying "Watch cute cat videos on youtube"

This app is amazing. Aside from the ease of use and straightforwardness of it, it allows you to play your favorite songs while you're occupied with something else. I was eating wings the other day and it really solved my dilemma. Im starting to use this more and more every day
Good start but needs work

Listens pretty well but doesn't always find the right songs in Spotify. Radiohead in rainbows album produced some violin concerto. Close but no cigar. We are routing for you. Keep on going!
Couldn't get it to work

Idea is great, execution is not quite there. I couldn't for the life of me get it to play any of my playlists on Spotify. Every time it would misunderstand me and bring up something completely different and there's no way to correct it manually like Siri. If it had that feature and/or a way to save your playlists, so it knows what you want then that would be really cool. Until then, this app is going bye bye!
