But what a glorious day! For the first time in history, hope sprung forth... in the face of death, a promise was given: although man deserved the just penalty for disobeying God’s command, God announced a substitute that would take the punishment of death in their place. Having clothed their nakedness with the skins of a slain animal as a symbol of the promised substitute, Adam and Eve began the long wait for what they and many after them would never live to see: the Son of Promise, the Lord and Savior of the world... Jesus Christ.
From that moment on, an epic battle ensued: our greatest adversary, Satan, tried with all his power to end the bloodline from Adam that would eventually culminate in the Promised One, who would shed His blood for the atonement of all sin. Follow in the footsteps of those who waited anxiously for the day when their faith would become sight: God as a man would die and rise again, so that those who die to their works of sure judgment can put faith in the works of Christ, who fulfilled the law in their place.
GAMEPLAY:
Play as each of the people in Christ’s bloodline: from Adam all the way through 4,000+ years of Biblical history. The Bible breaks the bloodline into 5 sections: from Adam to Noah, Noah to Abraham, Abraham to David, David to The Exile, and The Exile to Christ. Each section in the game has its own unique gameplay:
SECTION 1: ADAM - “Seed vs Thorn”
As Adam and his descendants, you must toil in the ground for food, while battling the thorns that come up along with what you plant. Get a cluster of 3 or more bushes, and you can harvest them for points! But look out for those thorns... they randomly pop up and slowly take over everything in the field. Use fire and lightning power-ups to destroy the thorns, and go for the coveted 9x bush for a huge point boost!
SECTION 2: NOAH - "Sheep vs Predator"
As Noah and his descendants, you must battle hungry predators bent on devouring your sheep that have gone astray into the treacherous tall grass. Can you get all of your sheep home before night falls... or worse?
SECTION 3: ABRAHAM - (Coming in March!)
SECTION 4: DAVID - (Coming in April!)
SECTION 5: THE EXILE - (Coming in May!)
“For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.) But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.” Romans 5:6-11 (NET)
