Ads ruin the experience

Camaryn Bolton

Play on airplane mode to avoid the ads. Some of the ads that pop up you can’t exit out of. It’s also difficult to switch to different card games. Terrible UI.

Good game selection, noisy ads

Overall, the game portion is good, with several different games to choose from. My biggest complaint is regarding the ads with sound. I completely understand the need for ads, but I turned off the sound in the app, yet I still get sound from the ads. Loud/lengthy ads are not ideal for places where noise can be disruptive, but I still need sound for other apps such as email that plays only a quick/quiet ding. If sound is turned off in this app, it should silence the ads within the app too.

Entertaining. Great way to get unstressed.

Would be better if when you win in Daily Winnables you got points per score.

Loving every minute of it!!!

Horrible pop up ads

Booger rocket

Pops up a Safari spam ad right on the middle of game play. Not acceptable for an App Store app.

I use to love this app, but not any more!!! Every time I play, your amazon add hijacks my phone and I have to shut it down completely to get rid of it!! You don’t even deserve 1 star!!!! ????????

Ads are extremely irritating!

Update 4/29/18: Wow! I had a pretty decent run from 2016 to 2018. Many of the ad problems were resolved and I have been able to play games again (with only an occasional annoying ad issue). But recently, probably the last couple of weeks, EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the game I get taken to a spam ad where I am some sort of winner of something (I don’t even bother to read it; I just get out of it ASAP). Still 1 star. Update 1/30/16: And on it goes. Tonight, while trying to play a game, the App Store kept opening up to Candy Crush, a game I deleted a long time ago! Make a move or two, App Store opens up displaying Candy Crush. Choose "Back to Solitaire," make a couple more moves, and I'm taken right back to App Store for Candy Crush. Stop it! Just stop! Still only 1 star. I'll change my rating when you stop this once and for all! OTHER GAMES DON'T DO THIS, SO IT IS YOU!!! You could fix it if you wanted to! Update 12/6/15: Still annoying ads. Still not willing to give you more than 1 star since this seems to be an ongoing issue that you refuse to correct. Tonight while trying to play Scorpion, the App Store just opens up for Lyft - Taxi & Bus App Alternative. I Cancel, go back to game, make a move, and the App Store just opens up again for that same app. Over and over and over and over and over and over!!!!!!!!! Can't even enjoy a game. Stop it! Just stop it! I enjoy playing many of these games but annoying issues with ads keeps the overall rating low. The iBotta ad (and another I can't recall right now) doesn't allow user to X out of the ad. Instead it goes to the app for a download. Repeatedly! I reported this as an issue (rather than affecting my rating of your app), but the problem persists. So maybe I can get your attention to fix this issue with a low rating! Here's what happens: open Solitaire app, select game, game loads while ad pops up; click on X to leave the ad to play selected game & instead of exiting the ad, it goes to the App Store to download app. Hit Cancel & it returns to ad. Hit X again, does same thing. Over & over again. Does iBotta get some sort of count/points/rewards for every time someone appears to be selecting Install? So despite making absolutely sure I'm hitting the X & not Install, it forces me to the App Store so they get ... whatever?!!! It's annoying & irritating! I really don't mind the ads but I DO mind when I'm not allowed to exit the ad. (iPhone 5S)
