Features:
1. Set the Date
Set the date of when the soldier is due home and the app immediately calculates the time until the big day!
2. Add a Photo
Take a picture of your solider or their family with the built-in camera or add one from the camera roll.
3. Share the Countdown
Tell your friends and family how long until your soldier comes home by sending an update via email, text message, Facebook, or Twitter. Also includes a screenshot (excluding SMS) of the countdown, as well as how many months, weeks, days, hours and minutes until they come home.
4. Schedule Alerts
Soldier Countdown will send you alerts as often as you wish, to let you know how long until the homecoming. You can also set "Special Occasion" alerts to be notified exactly one year/month/week/day/hour before the soldier comes home!
5. Share on Twitter and Facebook!
Share your #SoldierCountdown status on Twitter and Facebook. It's all built in for you and also includes a screenshot of your countdown!

I love this App because I’m a mom of a solider but it would be nice if there was ability to choose solider, marine, Airman, etc.... Everyone with someone in the service are counting down the days. Thanks to all that reads this for their sacrifice

Worth the .99¢ to watch time countdown to when you see your soldier again, but only iPhone 5 or iPad has days showing. Mine shows months. Weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, but not total combination of days.
