It WAS a great app!!! till today when they updated it... now after every move it throws up some random previously completed game on the screen and forces you to answer if you want to rematch all those games ... this happened after each and every move of the current game you are trying to focus on!!!! Grrrrrrrr

Pieces move now at fast speed and look like we are playing in the Matrix movie. Makes it difficult to concentrate.

Great app new platform blew me away awesome boards premoves the list is endless! Only issue is if u can't play someone 250 points + or - u get taken off the leader board ! That's about it ! Best 8 bucks for a mobile chess app! Lee always responds to any issues within a few hours ! I recommend this app to anyone who likes chess on the go! 5 stars

Excellent customer service! Received feedback to my question in less than an hour! Around 7 PM at night! What is the pin on the top right hand corner of the app, when you are in a game? What does it do? Please! Thank you! Hi, If you touch it, it will say auto next game disabled/enabled. It’s to stay on a game after you make a move instead of automatically going to the next game. Social chess is fully functional and I have not experienced any games crashing like on other apps. There is a higher skill level of players who don’t wait for days to make moves. You can choose the number of days allowed between moves depending on your preference, or you can play aggressive blitz style. Social Chess also rates you based on your performance against others. I have no complaints about this app.

The application recently updated (as of 08/07/19 when I noticed), which changed the environment (i.e., look) of the game, to my dismay. For example, I am no longer able to easily delete archived or completed games. Additionally, the graphics appear larger, much larger; even after changing the font settings on my phone. I am still trying to enjoy the application, games, and experience, but I am just not feeling the change. Still a good application, though. Thank you, Disappointed Customer ?

If you play chess, there is no better app than this. *** This new update/refresh made the best app on the market even better. Kudos to the creator and developers. The only thing I wish were added is a clacking sound when you capture an opponents piece but that’s a bit-pick. ????

Can’t delete old games!

The new version will not let you delete old games. So you have to just go to the top of the list every time where before you would just have your current games listed.
