I am going to be a third year sociology student, and this app helped me immensely in my History and Theory class. All the theorists you need are included, and the format of the information makes it very easy to read and find everything. I'm not saying you shouldn't read your textbooks, but it is definitely a good tool for studying before a test.
This app is essential for any student studying Sociology. The portal is simple and easy to maneuver through. Additionally, the content is condensed so that the main points are extracted which makes an overwhelming subject easy to absorb and understand. Well done.
Marianne Weber? Charlotte Perkins Gilman? Anna Julia Cooper? Dorothy Smith? Social Theory was founded just as much by women as it was by men, and yet this app only includes two contemporary female theorists. I would like to see some of the women founders included
We Always Wanted it.... It is great and practical, regards and thanks
This app is great and full of info on the most important social theorists and their ideas- but please update this app to a version compatible with the new iOS versions! Every time I log on to this app it reminds me that "the owner of the app needs to update the app." I'm not sure if that's gonna happen, seems to be an abandoned project which is a shame because it really is encyclopedic in its scope.
