"So, You're Possessed!" is a 50,000-word contemporary fantasy novel where your choices impact how the tale unfolds. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
Can you keep your dark side in check when your world turns upside down? Will you nurture a team of friends to rally at your side or fight your demons alone? Because a lousy delivery job, an unemployed roommate, and delayed graduation aren't stressful enough without adding an epic battle between the forces of good and evil to the list!
Choose carefully! It's going to take a little mortal ingenuity, divine intervention, and plain dumb luck to survive this first installment of a multipart series. Try the first two chapters for free!
The plots pretty good and that makes me look forward to the next chapter. I like how I had a free trial in the beginning because at first I wasn't sure if I should try it or not. Besides some minor spelling errors and a glitch when making your own last name it was pretty good.
I don't know if you can really call this a game but I love it so much!! I, myself, would have never thought of making an interactive story! Best thing ever!! This gives you two free chapters and the option to buy the rest! The story is so great it's dumb not to buy!! I love it!
The story is well written and the characters are vibrant. Although the game is a little bit too linear and lacks choices it makes up for it with a great story and an interesting world. I will wait for the sequels. Definitely recommend.
Great story line, fun characters and well written but the choices are all superficial and don't effect the story that much. It's a great read and I couldn't put it down just not much to re-read the story for.
I had loads of fun playing this game. The stats in this game lend it an interesting dynamic that I found to be very enjoyable. That combined with a story that continued to raise questions as it answered them kept me glued to my device for hours. I can't wait for the next book!
I loved the storyline and the characters are great! I'm in love with Sidney ? seriously the dudes that goofy friend we all had in school and he's just relatable... If we had a friend who was possessed... Anyway, highly recommend this COG ??
That basically sums up this game in a nutshell. While I felt that the story was well put together with very few mistakes. The game did not make me feel like my choice had in any part in making a dramatic change to any of the dialogue regardless of what it was. When I play games of choice I expect a certain level of ..choice that will change the dynamics of the story drastically. In this it was either a choice of a lousy sarcastic comment or a really boring gullible one.
I absolutely loved Sydney (I got the free version and then bought the full one after meeting the quirky, funny best friend) and I really enjoyed his/her dialogue! However, I do agree with the review that disliked not having an actual decision in the plot, a lot of the choices were linear. I feel like it'd be better to cut out choices that don't matter, it's a waste of time to agonize over a choice only to realize that it didn't impact the outcome at all or only a small, minuscule bit. Overall, I really hope they come out with the next installment for this seeing as it ended on a cliffhanger and because I really love the characters, but they do need to make a storyline that's actually impacted by what you do and say rather than fake choices.
Good story, nicely written but CoG is letting too many unfinished WIPs get released and selling them off as sequel bait. Not that I'd mind paying for a bit more, but these things take so long to get released I'll probably have forgotten this by the time it's released.
