The game lasted about 4 hrs. There was a lot of back and forth, which I personally don't care for. The story was interesting.

I agree with a previous reviewer - too much going back and forth thru too many rooms. Going back 1 or 2 rooms is OK BUT going back 4 rooms than forward 4 rooms then back 3 rooms then forward ...... Continuously just to get the items on the red background was a little too much. Snarks 1 & 2 did a much better job with the more hidden pieces. Of the three Snark games, Snark 1 was the Best.

Big disappointment - not as good as previous Snarks

There are several flaws with this 3rd entry into the Snark series. First, let me state that I'm a HUGE fan of the previous two Snark games, so this was a disappointment. Immediately, I noticed the music. Where is the great Snark/Steam Punk music? That is truly part of the overall charm of the game, and instead we get - yoga music? Huh? This probably doesn't matter to a great many, so as to the game itself, as previous reviewers have mentioned, the game is simply tedious. I really find it hard to get into the story because of this. They did not do a good job fitting the Snark in, and the back-and-forth was ridiculous. We are doing hidden object scenes (HOSs) just to give us something to do. There is absolutely no point in them at times. What little puzzles there are, my 6yo niece can solve in under 2 minutes. This game's biggest flaw to me is story line. It simply has nothing to compel the player to want to free Nicolas, with the convoluted plot and tedious game play. Graphics are excellent, but don't even get me started on the terribly fake British accent of the main character. Lordy!

Needs improving

Well worth a dollar but needs to eliminate all the back and forth movements. Also if you tap the same spot the audio repeats itself. Still very enjoyable.

For a dollar, the game is ok. However, nothing nearly as good as the previous two Snarks. This one is simplistic and boring.

I LOVE these games and can't wait until the next game comes out, though it'll be ages before it hits the iPad or even Mac. I'll have played it dozens of times on the PC beforehand.
