Snakebird is a very simple but deceptively challenging puzzle game about assuming the right shapes for the task at hand, be it pushing, lifting, teleporting or just defying the laws of physics.

I’m hooked by the challenge, the cute graphics and the great soundtrack. Love a puzzle and a game that isn’t about speed or killing people. I’m keeping my brain active with this one!

Some reviews mention a lack of communication of the concepts of the game, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The game lays down a set of fundamental rules, and through all 50 levels it never strays from those rules. There aren’t any tricks or “gotcha” puzzles, it’s all about logically deducing the correct path to approach. The game is very forgiving and lets you take your time to solve it. I love this game because I always knew that I could solve the puzzles, I just had to think about it long enough. That said, this is one of the hardest puzzle games I’ve ever played. The later levels took me days of understanding the layouts to figure it out. But once you do get it, it feels amazing. There are no puzzles where you “stumble” across the solution, you have to know exactly what you need to do. Because of this, I fully understand why some people might not like it because of how challenging it gets. If you’re looking for a more casual puzzle game where you can go through levels quickly, this game might not be for you. (Especially for younger players) But if you want something that is challenging, yet perfectly fair, a games with puzzles that need to be solved, not found, then I can’t recommend this game enough. In my opinion it’s one of the most well-made puzzles games of all time, but it’s not for everybody. Try out the free version and see if you like it. If you do, then you’ll love the full version.

Was a lot of fun and a great challenge, but when are you going to release a new one? (And not an easier one like primer) the game is fun and cute but makes me think hard and has my brain hurting until I wake up at 2am and think “I know how to beat it.” Please make more.

This was the best $4 I’ve ever spent, I’ll take it to my grave that this is by far the best game on the App Store. The concept is simple enough, but the levels are challenging. There’s a different “trick” to each level, it’s not like other games where the more you play the easier it gets. The graphics are beautiful; it’s very cute, cartoonish, and colorful without being obnoxious. I’ve beaten the game twice now but I might have to go for round 3 since the coronavirus has given me all this time!

Great game, I don’t have much time but I do have a glitch for you guys. If you are on a level with 2 snake birds (maybe more I don’t have the full game) then u can glitch one guy to never to respawn by killing him and moving the other snake before the first repawns and then u can complete the level even though the first guy is not there anymore. I hope you guys read this! Oh yea, there is probably more people who report this glitch and I didn’t copy them if they did. I just found it out my self. Bye!!!

Playing this game on iOS 13 on iPhone 11 Pro Max feels very outdated and neglected. This game desperately needs to be updated to take advantage of the full screen, there’s a reason some of us pay extra for the larger screen iPhone.

Agree with the other reviews that ANY instructions would be helpful. As it is, there is absolutely nothing to go on when starting out so unless you it’s want to fiddle endlessly in the hopes of somehow doing the right thing, then this is the game for that. People claiming it is easy or that the rules are explained at all appear to be just trolling as that is definitely not the case. Edit: Game is actually pretty fun so far but be prepared to google the instructions. To get started: The worm grows every time it eats something. There are also full solutions online for at least the first ten levels but after knowing the basics you should be fine.

Some levels are rock hard and I love it! Only wish I have is for iCloud saving so I can switch devices without losing progress, other than that one of the best puzzle games around.
