Snake Redemption takes the basic mechanics of the original snake game made popular on nokia phones and texas instrument calculators from the late 90's and seamlessly transitions it to a new audiences on modern devices. It has nods to classic 8-16 bit nibtendo and sega style platformers, a great soundtrack and a difficulty that challenges you. The power ups are useful in the later stages and you dont feel pressured to buy. You can test your resolve and play through without in app purchases but it feels good to use some extra powers and doesnt feel like cheating. This is a must have for ANYBODY. definitely worth a download
