So far I'm impressed. Good and responsive controls. The graphics style is great and the deforming grid makes it awesome. Sounds are subtle and fit perfectly the game. I just wish something like OpenFeint.

The app looks great on the iPad (the pictures don't do it justice really) and the controls are very responsive. The gameplay feels polished, not buggy like so many other iPad apps. I think the option to have swipe controls would be nice. I can see myself getting addicted to this one.

Snake is classic arcade game that graced many platforms and flash sites through out the years. Now, play the HD for iPad version with added features and delicious vector graphics for a whole new experience. Addictive, maddening, tense.. and good old fashioned fun with current gen graphics (retro fanatics can also play classic mode).

Great version of snake! I enjoyed the modern mode of snake which gives you the ability to move 360 degrees instead of just make a left or right turn. Graphics remind me of geometry wars with the background moving based on your in game movements.

Good retro remake of a classic

Good graphics and love the grid effects when the snake swivels around the board. Multiplayer is enjoying. Would have like the scoring system to at least allow the ability to put our initials next to the score...an online scoring system would have been a plus.

Wow! I was expecting a typical snake game. This one is really good! I love the retro graphics, but the best is the controls! Very well done! Recommended.

This is hands down the best version of the classic snake game on any platform. Everything you like about this sort of game is here and then some. Included is a modern version and old school as well with retro graphics. I prefer the modern version with it's silky smooth control and ultra slick graphic style. It is like playing a game of snake in the Geometry Wars world, as your growing snake moves around through the levels making the grid warp as in Geometry Wars. The game progresses in levels, and as you get further along more and more obstacles get in your way to avoid, making this ever more challenging. Add in the 2 player mode and you have the perfect game of snake. A no brainer for any snake fan... A+++

I grew up playing snake games on the intelivision and this game is the perfect 2010 version of those classic games. The controls are spot on and the graphics and sound are awesomely retro. If you like snake games this game is a no brainer. If you've never played one this is a great place to start.

This is the best version if Snake on the app store, maybe even the best I've ever played! Gorgeous in motion and 2 player is like Tron with snakes. Buy it!

I am really enjoying this one. I LOVE vector graphics and these are very bright and sharp. The animation is silky smooth and the gameplay is classic fun. The addition of a 2 player head-to-head mode is just icing on the cake. Definitely worth the $2
