This app opens a new text message at the scheduled time that you then have to send manually. What's the point of that?

I tried to schedule a text to be sent and it didn't get sent. No notification of failure or reminder to send. I couldn't even edit it to fix once I scheduled it.
Reminder, not scheduler

What I was looking for was an app that actually sends the message at a set time. The name is deceiving on this app. Instead of sending it for you, a reminder pops up with the exact message and contact information so all you have to do is press send.

The app allows you to prepare a message in advance and then SENDS YOU a reminder to send the message. If you want an app that sends the message for you then you're involving a third party vendor and a can of worms that I don't want to deal with, so THANK YOU for this app! It works just fine for me!
Please add the ability to edit the text and send it automatically for 5 stars

If I can edit the text, it's not clear how to do it other than canceling the message and rewriting it. Also, if you can somehow send the message automatically, then that would make the app a lot better. The app already opens my messages app and prepares the message to send, but it doesn't click the send button at the time I scheduled the text.
Notification only works when you're looking at the screen

There is no sound to notify you when the screen is not turned on & if you don't see it fast enough, the notification disappears! The website doesn't even have a place to contact them for help. My sound is on for notifications in my general settings menu & notifications are "on" for this app, yet nothing.
