Why do I need a subscription to click Netflix

My phone won’t connect to the app, I’ve tried unplugging and replugging the tv and seeing if my wifi was the problem nothing is working. Not sure if maybe it’s just my phone, but I’m not sure.

How the shi gon work for 30 seconds all smoothly then I gotta pay a subscription to click buttons??? Something I can do with my remote .. welp looks like I gotta go find that remote ??‍♂️
