Slick and feature rich

Slick interface and all the right feature to really play and improve your game. The coach is one of the better ones I have found plus the FICS client is great and stable. Looking at the Pro version now.
Embarrassingly Sexist

This is a well-made app, but there is an awful Beauty of Chess module where you click through creepily captioned photos of female chess players and try to identify them. It's 2014 -- how does anyone still think this is advisable? What a blunder.

This app is great for training on FICS! It makes using the training bots very easy to utilize. At current, I don't know of any other ios chess apps that can. I used to have one, but for some reason, it went away. I've been looking for some time and was happy to find this. The interface is very slick and user friendly. Has options for playing against other players or locally against computer, (computer kinda buggy, couldn't recognize repeat draw, hung several times). Playing FICS was easy, options for time and variations, observing. I would,ve given this 5 stars if the save to pgn worked correctly, its buggy, please fix. And the other thing I don't really care for how the chess pieces look, wish they had an option for different style pieces. But I think definitely worth the price, considering all the options and variations built in!

Awesome all around chess board full of much needed features! Great configurability . Can't rate it Lower than five stars because nothing's perfect but this here app! Wow!

Smartest, most intuitive engine and app available. The engine must require significant processing power because playing quickly drains the battery.
