history button crash again

great app. but today it crashes especially when I push history button. I noticed last 3/31 someone had the same bug. not sure if it's related that a few days ago, the calendar does not even have date 3/31 in March. hope it can be fixed soon. also it would be much nicer to have the feature to import/ export data.

Great app

Does what I want it to do. Just don't like the adds and wish I could turn off the garbage sleep index.

Almost

This has the makings of the best sleep log the app store. However it has some serious bugs. For me, all entries are on the wrong date. Manual entries for the time are quite off. If I enter that I went to bed at 11 PM it will show that I'm actually going to bed at 7 AM making it very confusing. Seems like it needs an update.

Doesn't work right/ Frustrating!!

This would be an awesome app of it worked right. It's fine until you have to add a manual entry then it's all over from there!! Frustrating because when you have to manually add an entry or fix one it logs random times-- not the time you're asking for.

Beyond frustrating

The number wheel for recording time of day is totally messed up. If I dial to 8:00pm, for instance, it will read it as some other time. If I try to move to another time to offset the error, at some point the am/pm indicator will switch on me. A few times I've been able to enter the correct time, but it's certainly not worth the trouble. It feels like a loaded game at some county carnival. Walk on by.

Had potential, but does not work correctly

Untamed13

I have been searching for an adult sleep log app for a while. This has the most potential, but the time entry wheel doesn't work and it is confusing when making manual entries. Plus, the time is in 24 hr vs. 12 hr format- ugh. Suggestions (in addition to making the time work correctly): make a version for the iPad and have the app sync across devices; add alarms, reminders and notifications, add ability to e-mail log. "Cloudability" is a must now in my book. Ability to add calming music would be nice too. With changes and corrections, this could be useful. Until then, keep searching. Good luck.

Weak app. doesn't do much

This is a placebo sleep app that just allows you to enter your sleep start stop times, and rate them against a goal that you set. That sleep cycle graph you see in the sample screenshots? Notice it's on the help page. There is no such graph provided for your sleep. App just shows how long you slept -based on you pressing the start/stop buttons' (you could just set your iPhone timer for that!) and some random % that is not explained (I think they made it up, or it could be your preferred hours of sleep - that you pick, divided by actual, that you entered above) ie I don't think this app actually records anything the way a real sleep cycle app does. I'd rate it higher if they just said that up front.

app has potential, not ready for prime time

some positive: (1) there is a button to press when you go to sleep ann another to press when you wake up. (2) you can set a delay for the time it takes to fall asleep after pressing the sleep button (3) you can identify your best sleeping time in hours (corresponds to the RemSleepIndex calculation. HOWEVER, the app is missing some basic functionality and user interface has much room for improvement: (1) the app only records 1 sleep event per day. so if you take a nap in the day, the app will over write that event when you make a new entry for going to sleep at night. (2) the user interface uses the dreaded scroll wheels for time entries, should just give a simple number pad (3) i see no way to export the data. i am looking for a simple app that allows me to press a button to when i go to sleep and press it again when i wake up, to calculate the duration, to chart the results and that allows me to add a time to that sleep event.

Sad app death

My previous review is below. My new review is that this app simply does not work anymore. My guess is that it has been abandoned by its creator. It now crashes when I try to see the amount of sleep I had each night. It just doesn't seem to have been updated for a long time and I think, very very sadly – I will have to get a new sleep tracking app. I really love this app and it has transformed my life so I can't be too upset with the developer – whoever this unknown person is, you really did transform my sleep. For that I am grateful. Just sad I finally have to give up on your app. One final plea – update the app! Or sell it to someone who will! This is a really genius app and I would love to see it live instead of die and go to the app graveyard. ---- I have now been using this app for over a year – still love it just as much. This is by far the best sleep tracking app I have found. Other people say you can't manually input your sleep times, but that is not true. You can easily edit the time. If I wake up and then go back to sleep, I just add that extra hour into my total for the night. I get that it might be a tiny bit more convenient to be able to input more than one sleep period per day, but for me it's easy enough to work around. There is something about the interface of this app that is so much better than every other sleep tracking app I've ever seen. I like the color coding, and I like the simplicity. The graph has really impacted my commitment to sleeping better. In particular, seeing when I don't get enough sleep as a horrible looking red bar, compared to my happier orange, green and blue ones, helps me focus on what's important – getting the sleep I need. In over six months of use, my app has not crashed. But I take a screenshot every month, so if it does, I will still have my data. Although the historical info is certainly nice, and if it crashes I will be bummed, what's more important is seeing how I'm doing this month. Also, the fact that this app subscribes to the belief that sleeping in 90 minutes cycles is better for you than other lengths of time has dramatically improved my quality of life. The quality bar in the bottom half of the graph has incredibly impacted my insight into my sleep. I almost never reach 100% quality when I wake up with an alarm, and I almost always reach 100% quality when I wake up on my own. This is pushing me to try harder to go to bed earlier, because that is the factor that will help me wake up without an alarm. I'm not there yet, but this app is the number one thing in my life that's focusing me on getting there. I truly can't live without it. If you're looking for a sleep tracking app, I invite you to try this – despite what other reviewers say, I find it invaluable, and I highly recommend it.
