Love love the weather with the thunderstorm in the rain, helps me sleep right away. The only reason for not giving five stars is that sometimes the timer doesn't work.

Sounds will not help u to sleep, too much noise at once! the best was Waterfall but the timer does not work, It goes on forever, same problem with Beach

I am trying out the app which I think I would like very much, but I can't figure out how to exit the scenes without returning to the App Store and clicking on Open. Getting to app support is not easy either and there's no link to click on, just an email address.

We needed some white noise to put in our toddlers' room so I actually bought a white noise machine from Homedics that ended up not working at all so, after a friend's recommendation, I downloaded SleepBug and am in love with it. With the screen off, the sounds continue and you're still able to adjust the volume. It's perfect. The developer is amazing as well - we wanted to try some sounds in our room from a different iPad but couldn't figure out how to restore the in-app purchase. The developer was super quick to respond! (Directions: In any scene, press the timer looking icon to the left of the clock, and the option is on the next screen). Save your money and don't hesitate to buy this app instead of a white noise machine!!

I had to delete this app because I couldn't shut it off. Reinstalled it but cannot restore the upgrade that I paid for. Not happy!!

This app is simply fantastic. I use it with my iPhone in a charging stand (so I can see the screen) and a Bose Mini SoundLink, both sitting on my nightstand. It offers multiple "themes" (Beach, River, Forest, Waterfall, etc.) each having a baseline sound. Then you can add in additional sounds (birds, chimes, rain, crickets, etc.) and modify the volume of each sound to create your own personal custom symphony. The phone screen displays a start/pause button together with the time and date, superimposed on a peaceful scene representing the particular theme that's currently playing. It's really very slick! The "free" version comes with a generous 12 themes—more than enough for most people's needs. However, I suggest you consider purchasing the "Pro" version (for a whopping $1.99!) as I did, simply to show your appreciation to the developers for giving us such a wonderful app. (The Pro version provides another dozen themes.)

I use this when I'm rocking my little one to sleep. It's very helpful when it's not me and he's with a grandparent or sitter.
