App very buggy

The hardware for skytrak is great, the app is very disappointing. It's extremely buggy and won't let me upgrade my account or use anything besides 'direct mode'. For $2,000 I'd expect a functional app. I'd be happy to update my review once the app is working!

I’m not sure what just happened but I updated the latest firmware support and now my shots are not being tracked. Very disappointed.

Display issues on iPhone 6 plus but it's good to final have this app on something other than an iPad.

Update on April 22, 2018: Yes! Yes! Yes! Apple’s latest iOS update appears to have resolved all connectivity issues between my iPad, Skytrak and hard wired television display. Thank you to the Skytrak software team for staying on top of the issue with Apple. I’m adding another star to reflect my complete satisfaction with the Skytrak hardware and software and I can now whole heartedly recommend Skytrak to anyone who wants to seriously improve their game. I don’t have a need to go to the range much anymore (saving a lot of time and $) and I can also share that using my Skytrak has helped me quickly drop from a 6 to a 4 handicap AND enabled me to shoot my first even and 1 under par rounds! Update on Mar 22, 2018: Last night I ran into more of the same crash behaviors while using the app while also connected to an external video source. This is an iOS11 issue according to the developer. Update on Feb 25, 2018: I was able to get the app to start without crashing during loading. We used the unit for a few hours last night without a hitch. Added a 4th star. ——- Original Review: Worked beautifully...then Apple updated iOS in early 2018. Had 1 successful use since. I have an iPad Air 2 running the latest iOS version. Sadly, the SkyTrak App now closes during every startup sequence (after multiple iPad reboots) and with no other 3rd party apps running. Bummer, but coming from the software dev world I figured it was a temporary matter while Skytrak caught up to meet the newer Apple iOS hardware integration requirements. So I gave SkyTrak and Apple most of February to remedy....opting for some visual practice with Swing Profile. As of today, my first reattempt after 3-4 weeks, it’s the same frustrating crash experience. Strangely Im not seeing others complaining about it, so maybe it’s a localized issue.

I bought skytrak. And I tested it. But it is too much slow.. I have to wait 10 sec after shot on iPad Air. So can you fix it? And I want metric. Not yrd. So can you update it?

Beware---Version 1.8 deletes all prior Session History recorded by versions 1.7 and 1.6 and turns the SkyTrak into a live session only device. Don't install it, unless you are willing to take manual screen shots of your live session screen for later review, which works better than under 1.7, as the club used is now correctly reflected in the live session, and averages are properly segregated by each club used, instead of all aggregated together for all sessions from the same calendar day. However, as soon as you end your current session or start a new session, all access to the prior session data is gone, unless you took screen shots. Sync via the Sky360 app is still nonexistent. Upcoming Versions 1.9 and 2.0 offer more promise.

We got a Skytrak and absolutely love it. This app lets you play either a driving range simulation or a challenge “closest to the hole” simulation. The data it gives you is impressive about your ball flight, spin, carry, etc. I've been hitting indoors with a net for a couple of months now and have already seen improvement with my swing.

SkyTrak launch monitor is ok, but there’s definite room for improvement in the design. And the software still needs a lot of work. You can’t delete individual shots, it doesn’t allow you to save data over time, user interface is not intuitive, some features just don’t work, wish I could download and print practice session data in a spreadsheet. I could go on, but this is enough for now.
