Common objects like Heart Nebula and California nebula are missing. Even searching with exact IC like IC 1499 does not yield anything

Overall it's a good useful app for amateur astronomers. Some suggestions for future improvements: - show how high an obj can get ("dec sine curve" in day/night background); - include local weather condition; - augmented reality to help site visibility of objects. Thanks!

First and foremost, this app is very user friendly, even for an extreme neophyte. This is an amazing app that shows your location under the celestial sphere and allows you to zoom in on any object of interest, from constellation to deep sky object, at will. You are also able to see objects of interest below the horizon in anticipation of later viewing. This app keeps track of the sky 24/7 at your location, even during the day, reminding you that the stars are still there even when the Sun is shining. This helps the beginner learn the celestial seasons with the reassurance that in six months this same invisible daytime sky will become the nighttime sky yet again. This app will send you notifications of selected sightings of predicted events such as ISS (Zarya) crossings.

To me this is the greatest app ever made. Invaluable tool for learning stars and constellations, naked eye astronomy. Use the object info feature to learn about any star, planet, constellation, or asterism. Best app ever. Thank you.

It would help a great deal...if the celestial poles point are given as an option. Along with meridian, ecliptic and so one... iPad is great way to see all these...and it would help amateurs just as well. App is great but it can be even more amazing with these options...
