Disclaimer:
This is a game! It is built for fun and not for any activities that might endanger yourself or the lives of others. The flight data used in this game is publicly accessible and used by many other websites and plane tracking apps found in the App Store. If you need fully comprehensive information about flights, aircraft, airlines and fleet data, or want to track your Gran's flight, we recommend you buy a ‘proper’ flight tracking app, they’re really good.
Most airplane game is for baby’s or cost money you can get it all for free!
I have hundreds of thousands of skydollars but...what do I do with them? The point system is confusing, and when skyjacking, you should be able to see an ETA in time and miles to the destination in order to help you decide if you want to skyjack that aircraft (same with diversions). It also says "watch out for other skyjackers enroute" but I can't steal someone's aircraft that they're currently skyjacking? If this game is supposedly a free for all, I should be able to skyjack someone else's aircraft. An A380 shouldn't be able to divert to a small airport which obviously wouldn't be able to handle that aircraft (unless realism isn't an issue). Otherwise, this game seems like a great concept and for someone in aviation it's awesome to see what's around me and be familiarized with tail numbers and aircraft types. A lot are exact aircraft I see every day.
This AR game has so much potential, and I can see it being a best of the App Store game with consistent 4-5 star reviews, if only more features were rolled out. I know this is still a very young game, and a pioneer of uniqueness, but DEVELOPERS please broaden the playability of this game. Right now, it can get old very quickly with only a few actions the user can actually take in-game. It is already becoming a cycle of boring simplicity that really has no end game, goals, or benefits to keep playing. I do see the "opening soon" marketplaces, and it is exciting to see possible future equipment enhancements; but currently there is no solid grasp on scoring, no explainable rules or actions that would be more/less beneficial to the player, a very random display of aircraft, an unexplained selection of diversion airports and fuel range, a very boring map screen, no way to watch your flights as they fly outside of your range, no ability to change locations or even view other parts of the world, an excruciatingly simple map and tracker interface, and the list goes on and on. I would be happy to share my thoughts on improvements with your team more in-depth if you wish to contact me. All in all, thank you for the effort and for creating a great aviation enthusiasts game. Don't miss the potential!! -CACTUS1549
Fun but can be tedious at times and boring. I would love to know what my skydollars buy me. There should also be a settings page to turn on and off the notifications in case I change my mind. Maybe a list of achievements we can possibly attain so we aren't aimlessly choosing random aircraft. Does diverting create more points? Changing location would also be a big plus. I have faith the developers will be adding these features soon. Great job otherwise!
This app is a good idea but needs a lot of work and a better source of traffic than AirNav. Coverage nowhere near as good as FR24 for example
As everyone else is saying, this game has a lot of potential. I think the Sidekick will be a big money maker for them. Some possible ideas I thought of. 1. Being able to buy a permanent sidekick. ($10?) 2. Make list of airplanes and airports you've collected alphabetical 3. With more downloads, it will be hard to play with only 8 visible planes at a time, even now I'll sometimes have 3 or 4 already hijacked planes in my area for 15 minutes that limits my options. 4. Being able to toggle On/off the Virtual Reality part, I don't see my self checking the app when school starts because I'll have to be pointing my phone all around to hijack the airplanes, I'm sure others feel the same with work/classes.
There is only one thing you can do and that's about it. They don't even FR24 don't waste your time with this game
An easy to play game that offers a quick bit of virtual but limited fun. The limited part is a very overpriced micro transaction system to get more temporary skyjackers. At most, there should be a nominal fee to get packs of permanent additional skyjackers.
Like the game and the concept..wish there was a better way than the diamond system, and the app freezes every time I get attacked, thus not giving me time to respond and losing the plane.
I love this app, but there is a couple of things I would want. First: the ability to play music while in app. Second: there is a bug that causes the screen to go black, and only display my username on the top left. Great app, has lots of potential!
