Very disappointing

Traveled from FL to Northwest Michigan for 2 weeks of golf. This app failed me repeatedly. Got a lot of “Image not available” (so, why have it?), and lock-ups where the hole showed but I was unable to move the target line to determine distances to objects (again, so, why have it?). After first day of this I contacted the Help Chat who suggested deleting & reloading the app, which I did repeatedly to no avail. I had strong cell coverage at all times. I’ll be canceling Skycaddie and trying other apps.
Not an App review but a disappointment with Skycaddie

I started with the SG4 which I used for a few years. Then upgraded to the SG5 because the charging port on the SG4 went bad. The unit could still work but can't charge it correctly. Myself an another me never mapped our course. One of them is available to download on the website (Wapsi Oaks Country Club in Calamus Iowa). Many years have passed since someone from Skycaddie stopped by to map the course CORRECTLY, but it was cold & rainy that day plus the person said he was fighting a cold at the same time. I've put I SEVERAL requests to have our course mapped by Skycaddie and NOTHING has come of it. Yes we're only a 9 hole course in the middle of no where. But it gets played by a lot of people. What's it gonna take to have our course mapped? Along with a couple other courses in our area that could be done also?

I recently purchased the GT2 Gametracker system to use with this app. I love the concept. However, the product is useless because the app is terrible. I have played, or tried to play, two rounds using the app. The first time the app crashed 10 times in less than 9 holes. The second time, the app did fine for 8 holes. It crashed for the first time on the 9th hole. It then crashed 10 to 12 more times before the 15th hole. It was so frustrating, I stopped counting. What is even more frustrating is that Sky Golf will not refund the shipping costs they charged me. It is not my fault they sent a useless product. I would understand if the product worked and I simply decided I didn’t want to keep it. But, they sent me a useless product because the app is so bad.

This app has not been updated in forever. Hardly works anymore, especially on iPhone max. Will not renew my membership. Such a shame!
Crashes when trying to keep score

This app won’t keep score anymore. I have sent them emails and after every crash it says the developer will be notified. Have heard nothing. I will not renew. Been using GolfShots instead.
Never gets past the login screen

I’ve tried to login a few different times with it only showing a spinning wheel and never moving into the actual app. It states “thank you for updating “ and to login again. But then just the wheel spinning.... ugg

I have used a sky caddie GPS device for over 5 years. A few years ago I started using the app on my IPhone instead. Just easier and works great. However, after the last update IOS 13 the app crashes after each hole, basically requires me to choose the course and hole each hole. Please fix ASAP. Thanks!

when iPhone screen turns off, the app will also be disconnected. after turning on the iPhone screen , i will have to start a new round or press the Continue button and it will take 15-30sec for SCM to be ready. Location service is set to Always and GPS running in background is enabled in SCM iPhone Override is also enabled .
Frustrating but could be great

After taking a couple years to fix the application crashing every time I attempted to enter a score it now restarts fresh after locking the screen as other users have mentioned here. This started happening after the iOS 13 upgrade. I called tech support and they said they hadn’t not heard about this. I guess they don’t read these reviews?? They instructed me delete the app, reboot my phone and then re-install. I did this to no avail... as I expected. SkyGolf, do you plan on fixing this before the spring so we can enjoy it?
