Have had this for more than two years now and still works fine even after 105 degree highs and -20 lows. I’d estimate that 90% of the time the motion detection works fine, sometimes light changes and wind can cause false detections and on occasion it may not pick up a package delivery. Once or twice a year it disconnects itself and I’ve had to reinstall on the app but has worked fine afterwards, may very we’ll be something caused by my Wi-Fi. No other Wi-Fi issues for me, the device is outside so you need to make sure there are not too many barriers between your router and the device. Unlike other options it’s totally free to view videos, keeps them stored for free, and you can download videos to your phone.

Says Live Stream is Unavailable whenever there is motion or anyone rigs the doorbell. Live Stream works fine when you don’t really need it.

It worked out of the box. Notifications were great, it was fast, storage was free. After a few months it stopped working all together. I don’t get notifications, it constantly resets itself, it is very hard to get live video. I have troubleshot this thing to oblivion. Including moving my router and nothing will fix the issue. I highly do not recommend this product.

What’s the point of having this app? When I get the notification that my door has opened or there’s a visitor at my door, I try to see who’s there and all I get is a black screen. Or it won’t even record the person opening the door. Update needs to happen!

The video no longer saves. Alerts are generated but no activity shows. Re downloaded the app and resynced. Still no activity. FAQ area is no help.

Never stays connected. We’ve had delivery people leave with packages because they rang the bell and nothing happened. I wish I could give it -1 stars!

I hate this doorbell. I only had it for less than 6months. My alarm switched it out with another brand. So far so good with brand. SkyBell is trash.

Skybell told me that since my doorbell is over a year old that i need to buy another one. this should not be an expectation for a doorbell company. who wants to change doorbells every couple of years. people don't change out cameras i'm their home, so why should we change out doorbells. i changed out internal doorbells, increased wifi, added an wifi extender, changed internet modems because i thought i was doing something wrong to cause the door bell not to work. Only to be told, your skybell is no longer supported. Wow!!!
