Works great. I use it mostly to check my top speed for each run. That being said, it would be fantastic if the GPS ping frequency could be adjusted in settings. 5 seconds in between data points is a bit long and is unlikely to determine my true top speed. Sure, 1 second gaps would use 5 times more data but the user should be able to make that trade off. That's my only little quip about it though. Everything else is great!

I really like the way this app works and the data they show. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't have this ONE FATAL PRIVACY FLAW: It is ALWAYS TRACKING YOUR LOCATION, even when off. The only way to disable this is every time you want to track skiing and every time you're finished you have to go to: "Settings" "Privacy" then "Location Services" and turn this on then back off. They could have easily allowed the Location Services setting "While Using" but I assume they didn't so they can always track your movement and sell it to advertisers or whoever and make $ by selling you out. Lame.

There's not really a whole lot to say. The app is simple, provides all the information I want, and seems to be accurate, with the exception that occasionally the max speed doesn't match the fastest run speed while tracking. (I imagine this is related to how the app processes GPS data, but it is a little odd.) The app also automatically annotates runs with the ski resort, which is great. My only real complaint is the splash screen upon launching the app. Is there really a good reason I need to sometimes (only if the app has been closed in the background due to memory pressure, which should be completely transparent) press an extra "OK" button to start?

No complaints. Although the splash screen (where you clicked ok to enter the app) is the old one I think. Before the update it was a more modern look and now it looks like a 2013 splash screen (with copyright 2013 in the corner). The rest of the app was updated correctly though. 100% recommend this app. Works perfectly.
