SketchAR is for those who have always wanted but have never been able to draw. It is an application through which the user sees a virtual image on the surface of which they are planning to trace a sketch. In addition to this, the app is designed for professional artists as a simple and convenient way to trace sketches onto any desired surface (e.g., canvas, wall, etc.).

IMPORTANT!
- If you want to draw on big surfaces such as a wall or large canvas you have to use a smartphone with TANGO, but soon it will be available for iOS using AR Kit!
- For other smartphones, SketchAR will work correctly only on an A4/A5 size of paper.

FOR CORRECT DETECTION, PLEASE FOLLOW THE TIPS!
- A bright enough environment. Every AR-technology requires a sufficiently bright room.
- Uneven circles. Your drawing can be a little bit weird but if it’s too uneven it won’t be detected.
- Keep the Circles visible for your camera
- Don’t forget to use a clipboard etc. or your piece of paper will move during the process of sketching.

Will nobody else talk about how they demand us pay $3/mo for this app that is a glorified tracing aid? It’s also very demanding. As soon as I try to draw the crosses, I get a pop-up saying “You WILL pay $2.99/month” The concept of this app has a lot of potential but the creators are too focused on making money off of it when they could be so much smarter about it and offer in-app purchases rather than demand us pay a membership. Again, great app, but due to the “membership” will not have as many users as it should.

I was excited to jump in, then I saw that you had to pay for a subscription to draw. Let me tell you something, I’d rather pay for the app then constantly pay for a subscription.

Me parece muy buena la aplicación. Pero no he podido usarlo ya que no reconoce las cruces, la imagen se mueve cuando me acerco a la hoja de dibujo: en iPhone. En iPad: no reconoce los puntos y sucede lo mismo que en iPhone. Gracias

I tried to line the crosses up and they won’t line up and neither will the paper. I have everything perfectly lined up. When I try to draw the crosses it disappears and the blue line goes all crazy. This app needs more work or something because all it does it piss me off.
